LOOPAHOY
TERMS OF USE

The fine print, kept short.

These terms apply when you use LoopAhoy: the apps, the web radio at loopahoy.com and LoopAhoy hardware software, provided by 5OF12 LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales (OC453996), whose registered office is 5 The Octagon, Chepstow, NP16 5QJ, United Kingdom (โ€œ5of12โ€). By using LoopAhoy you agree to them. Apps downloaded from the App Store are also covered by Apple's Standard License Agreement.

Using LoopAhoy

You may use LoopAhoy for your own listening, sampling and music making. Please don't reverse engineer it where the law doesn't allow it, use it to break any law, or interfere with the radio stations and services it connects to.

Radio and the moments you catch

LoopAhoy plays stations that other people broadcast. The broadcasts, and everything in them, belong to their broadcasters and rights holders; LoopAhoy gives you no rights in them. Catching and keeping a moment does not make it yours to publish. Before you share, perform or release anything made from a broadcast, make sure you have the permission you need, or that the law allows your use. You are responsible for how you use what you record.

Stations come and go, and some cannot be sampled because of how they are broadcast. 5of12 does not control station content or availability.

Subscriptions

  • LoopAhoy Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed by Apple to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • It renews at the price shown in the App Store unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account's subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Software and updates

LoopAhoy is provided as it is, and may change, gain features or lose them. Hardware software can update itself when you choose to install an update. Keep copies of samples you care about; like any storage, devices and cards can fail.

Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, 5of12 gives no warranties about LoopAhoy and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost recordings or data, arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer protections your local law gives you.

We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do, and continuing to use LoopAhoy means you accept the update. Questions about these terms: info@5of12.co.uk.
